Ableton: How To Make Mashups (Tutorial) (Part 1)

In this video I teach you how I create my mashups using Ableton Live 9. Since I receive so many questions as to how I make my mashups I thought I’d update you guys with my current program that I use since I no longer use Audacity. In this video I teach you how I get songs in sync with each other and get them into key. In part 2 I teach you how to professionally edit and piece the mashup together.

Detune:
A little difficult to explain since I use it by ear, but normally whenever you pitch a song by at least 1 semitone you have to move the cents up by typically 6, 12 or rarely 24 (and sometimes even 3 and 9 cents) but you have to work it out via your ear, but it’s normally 6 or 12! (even some songs in the same key may need a cents change)
