1: Performing with Ableton Live – the Rig

This series is designed to give you some ideas and pointers to incorporate Live into your own live setup.

Your guide through this journey is Tom Lonsborough – he’s a member of the live act 2 Billion Beats and also an Ableton Certified Trainer working out of the Manchester MIDI school, a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to working with Ableton Live.

In this part we start by looking at Tom’s setup, how he hooks it all up and uses the inputs on his MOTU interface to process inputs in real time in conjunction with Live’s features.
